“Ekkbalo! Ekkbalo! Ekkbalo!” Lou Engle began to shout in the streets of Lakeland, FL. Many were called by the sound of his voice, but only a few were chosen to carry this fiery message of revival.
Suddenly, Lou’s voice came on large loudspeakers in the city:
“There is a spirit of deliverance resting upon Lakeland, FL. The laborers must be thrust forth into the harvest fields full of the holy ghost and power. Feed the poor, clothe the needy, but release the power from on high that you have been given! Do not delay, do not wait any longer. Now is the time! Now is the time!”
I woke up from this dream early this morning (April 10th) with fire all over my body. I quickly jumped up out of my bed and began to pray in the Holy Spirit and declare over the body of Christ in Lakeland: “Ekkballo! Ekkbalo! Ekkbalo!” It had only been 8 hours since I sat on the side of my bed the night of April 9th, the 108th anniversary of Asuza Street, and I cried out to God and said, “Give me a message for this city!” And I believe with all my heart that God did exactly just that. He has released the word of the Lord over Lakeland, FL and we must partner with it.
Will you join me Lakeland? Will you allow the Holy Spirit to send you into the harvest fields of this city and release power from on high as we feed the poor and clothe the needy?
